Ted Street has a BA(Hons) in English and Media Studies. He has wide-ranging experience in corporate communications as a freelance writer, producer and director working on a diverse range of subjects for companies such as British Gas and AMEC. He has expertise in music recording studio installation and sound recording. He also manages production of the Helios Type 69 mic pre EQ range of re-issue modules designed by the late Richard Swettenham whose legendary Helios mixing consoles were owned by Island Records, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Virgin Records and many others.
Ted has worked in higher education giving technical support to media production undergraduates on video location drama and documentary projects, and on educational drama programmes for the Consortium for Drama in Higher Education. He was co-founder and Executive Producer of Doppelganger Productions, a theatre company specialising in new writing and stage production, and is a volunteer drama worker with Action on Addiction.
